The Swapshop Ecology Action Prize (formerly Eric Douglis Scholarship) is granted to a graduating Cape Cod high school senior who has actively demonstrated a concern for the environment. By contributing to the S.E.A. prize fund, You help transform donated labor and recycled goods into a $1000 scholarship prize, investing in kids who care about the Cape-- and the planet.

Ruthanna Gordon (1993) earned her doctorate in psychology and is currently an AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) consultant with the EPA, focusing on “the psychology of sustainability” ie what makes us do (or not do) the best we can for our Planet.
has taken leadership roles organizing projects promoting sustainability in Matenwa, Haiti and on Cape Cod. He plans to attend Tufts University after a gap year traveling and working in Latin America.

Samantha Berry and Jetta Cook
Samantha is a life-long resident of Wellfleet who will be leaving the Cape to study environ-mental science at San Diego State University.
Jetta (no photo yet) is an Eastham resident who aims to pursue a career in environ-mental law (in defense of the Earth, not the polluters!) She plans to attend U. Mass Amherst and transfer to Cornell University in 2016.
